Head In The Clouds
Tara is a London-based mixed media visual artist and the founder of Head in the Clouds. From an early age, she has used art and drawing to express her imagination and explore her creativity, drawing inspiration from her experiences and her interests in life, music, nature, form, and the connection between the material and metaphysical worlds.
She graduated with a BA in Illustration from the University of Portsmouth in 2020, where she developed her artistic interests and explored a variety of styles. Shortly after graduating, she began developing Head in the Clouds, initially as a sketchbook project inspired by the ever-changing shapes she observed in the sky. What started as a simple idea grew into an exploration of finding her own artistic niche, using clouds as an endless source of inspiration through pareidolia, the tendency to perceive familiar shapes and patterns in abstract forms.
Through her work, Tara hopes to inspire others to look beyond the obvious, embrace their imagination, and find beauty and meaning in the things we perceive.
